The time to replace the battery in your car is as soon as you see warning signs it is failing. Most drivers are unaware of these failed battery warning signs, so be on the lookout for the following:
  • When you try to use the horn in your car, it sounds much weaker than you remember it sounding.
  • There is a very strange and strong odor coming from the battery compartment when you open the hood.
  • The engine is starting to take longer to crank over when you go to start it each morning.
  • Once you do get the car running, the headlights appear to be very dim or are getting dimmer.
  • The check-engine light was flicking on and off but now the light stays on.
  • The battery casing is swollen.
  • Your vehicle needs to be jumped to start.
Come over to the service center for a battery inspection if you are concerned.
