Ford Motor Company Fund partnered with First Book to launch the initiative and is donating 10,000 books to kindergarten and elementary school kids.

In October, the automaker hosted a reading party for sixty-five Amelia Earhart Elementary School third graders at the Ford Resource and Engagement Center with special-guest, Oscar De La Hoya.

“Encouraging our young people to read and explore the world through books is a tremendous way to empower future generations and enable them to reach their full potential,” states Jim Vella of Ford Fund.
